Overview:
  • Join free (note: there is a one-time minimum quote requirement).

  • Access to 15,000+ quote requests each month on more than 40 different cruise lines.

  • Each request includes all information you need to quote your best offer (pricing/perks).

  • Clients compare your offer with (average) 3-5 others and decide which agents to contact directly (e-mail, phone, text).

  • Book cruises through your normal channels. We are not a host agency.

  • Report bookings in your CruiseCompete agent account.

  • You may cancel bookings or change prices if the booking changes up until the sail date.

  • Pay only based on actual bookings after the ship sails.
Advantages
  • Immediate access to thousands of in-market customers, ready to buy.

  • Quote a large number of customers very quickly.

  • Target customers where you have an advantage (groups, consortium offers, special rates from the line) or need sales (to make annual overrides). Filters and sorts let you customize your account to focus on the cruise lines you want to sell.

  • Quote daily or only when other sales are slow or when you're waiting on hold.

  • Use to train new agents
Revenue Share paid to CruiseCompete
You pay 3% of the gross commissionable amount of each booking you make for following quoting a customer on CruiseCompete.

Example:

Total cruise cost is $2,800 and port charges, taxes, and NCF's are $800.

So $2,800 (total) - $800 (non-commissionable) = $2,000 (commissionable cruise fare)

3% * $2,000 = $60 (due to CruiseCompete).

So if you booked the above cruise today for next March 15th, you would enter that booking into the system.

Between now and March 15th, you can make changes and or cancel the booking.

If nothing changes, on April 1st, we will charge you $60 for that booking.
Access to Requests
  • You have access to almost all requests. (NOTE: you will not see requests for Norwegian Cruise Line or specials posted by other member-agents).

  • Filter and sort to focus only on lines/requests you want to quote.

  • Quote as few or as many requests as you want (after a one-time quote minimum). There is NO CHARGE TO QUOTE.
Agreement Key Points
  • No charge to join

  • New agencies are required to enter 300 quotes in the first 90 days (3 quotes/day) in order to avoid the $500 membership fee.

    • We receive hundreds of quote requests per day, so there is plenty to quote.

    • This is a one-time requirement. After 90 days there are no minimums or membership fees.

    • The fee is per agency not per agent.

  • Agencies are required to provide a valid credit card which is kept on file and charged on the first of the month based on the bookings you have entered. You may complete an ACH/bank transfer form to avoid the small (3%) credit card fees. Note that having multiple agent accounts does not add to the minimum quote requirement.

  • Each agency may have as many individual agent accounts as requested-no charge.

  • Bookings are required to be entered immediately upon receiving a deposit from the client.
