About Norwegian Sun Tours

Built in 2001 and refurbished in 2011, the Norwegian Sun is a "Sun" class ship. At approximately 78,000 tons, it accommodates about 2,000 passengers. As an older ship, it has smaller cabins and fewer amenities than Norwegian's more modern ships, but it does have great range of dining options. Note that the best onboard restaurants do require additional fees, and advance restaurant reservations are recommended.

As with other NCL ships, there are no set dining times or assigned tables, and passengers are never required to wear formal dress. In addition to the two main dining roons, restaurants include Ginza (Japanese, including sushi), East Meets West (Asian fusion), Pacific Heights (cafe) and Las Ramblas (Spanish).

Also onboard are a variety of bars and lounges, a fully-equipped gym, a spas, pools, a theater for live shows, kids programs, a casino and many other recreation options.
