About NCL Norwegian Pearl Cruise Tours
Built in 2006, the Norwegian Pearl was the second ship in the "Jewel" class; a big step forward in the evolution of NCL's ship design. At approximately 93,000 tons it accommodates about 2,400 passengers. The ship is designed with large main passageways running from bow to stern instead of the standard port and starboard found corridors on most ships.
As with other NCL ships, there are no set dining times or assigned tables, and passengers are never required to wear formal dress. The Pearl has a great range of dining options. In addition to the two main dining rooms, restaurants include Cagney's Steakhouse (steak), Le Bistro (French), Chin Chin (Asian fusion, Teppanyaki, and sushi) Tangos (Spanish) and Mama's Kitchen (Italian). Note that the best onboard restaurants do require additional fees, and advance restaurant reservations are recommended.
Luxurious villa-style suites are available for passenger who want extra room at sea or who are traveling with larger families. These villas come with extra amenities, including butler service.
Also onboard are a variety of bars and lounges, a fully-equipped gym, a spas, pools, a water slide, kids programs, a theater for live shows, kids programs, a casino, and other recreation options.
