About Diamond Princess Cruise Tours

The Ship. Built in 2004 and refurbished in 2010, the Diamond Princess is a member of Princess' Grand class of cruise ships. Glamorous touches including soaring staircases and marble floors set a tone of elegance.

Dining. The ship features a number of dining options. There are five main dining rooms each serving the same high-quality menu and exceptional service that Princess is known for: The International, the Pacific Moon, The Santa Fe, the Savoy, and the Vivaldi. Passengers may choose between traditional assigned tablemates and dining times, or "personal choice" dining with times and tables assigned on the fly. The Lido Deck restaurants serve buffets, pizza, and other options. Two reservations-only alternative dining options are available for an additional fee. Sterling Steakhouse is an upscale seafood and steakhouse venue, and Sabatini's serves high-end Italian cuisine. (Be sure to reserve these options early, as they fill up very quickly). Complimentary 24 hour room service is also available. For those in high-end cabins, Ultimate Balcony Dining provides the experience of being served an elegant private dinner on your own balcony for a small fee.
