The Luxury Cruise Lines New Ships for 2011 and 2012
DETROIT (June 23, 2011)- For those who love to cruise in style, the luxury cruise lines provide the very best in features and amenities. Interested in what they'll be premiering in the upcoming months? The experts at CruiseCompete provide information on what these all the new ships for 2011 and 2012 will be offering:
Seabourn Cruise Line premiered the Seabourn Quest on June 20, 2011. This new ship is 3 times the size of its original ships, but carries only twice as many passengers (just 450!), ensuring a roomy experience for its guests. The majority of the ship's cabins (90%) have balconies, and granite bathrooms. The indulgent spa features a lassotherapy whirlpool, Finnish saunas, aromatic steam rooms, a gym and an aerobics area. The ship will also feature four restaurants as well as in-suite dining.
Oceania Cruises premiers its new ship, the Riviera, in April 2012. The Riviera is a sister ship to the Marina, and is a mid-size stunner, with a guest capacity of 1250. Designer touches abound, with a splendid Lalique Grand Staircase and dazzling Owner's Suites furnished in Ralph Lauren Home. This ship, like the Marina, caters to those who love fine dining and travel experiences, with a total of 10 dining venues (six are open-seating gourmet restaurants with no surcharge).
