The River Princess crusie ship has 65 cabins and 4 suites, and offers accommodations, luxuries and amenities superior to any other river cruise ship in Europe. The River Princess has one additional lounge compared to the River Queen - the Salon on the Main deck.
The public rooms offer an elegant, yet comfortable atmosphere. The sparkling lobby has a glass elevator. The spacious Main Lounge, lined with panoramic windows, has a skylight above. There is even a cozy open fireplace. There is a Veranda Lounge and a Club Lounge with a library and gaming tables. The spacious sun deck invites you to relax and watch the world float by. The beautiful restaurant, with panoramic windows on three sides, offers elegant dining in one seating. On board you'll also find a beauty salon (hair dresser), a boutique and a fitness center with solarium, sauna and whirlpool.
Cabins are very spacious (over 150 sq. feet) and offer comforts rarely found on a river cruise ship. They have hotel-style beds, which can be positioned separately (as two twin beds) or together as one large double bed. There is a cozy sitting area in front of the picture windows, with two comfortable chairs. There is plenty of closet space, a desk, direct dial telephone and TV with numerous local and satellite channels, as well as onboard information. Each cabin has a private bathroom (with a shower) and individual air-conditioning and heating controls.
All cabins have two picture windows. All cabins are identical, except for the height of the windows (the width of all windows is the same - about 3.5 ft.). The windows on the Moselle deck are about 2 ft high; on the Main Deck about 3.5 ft; on the Danube Deck about 4.5 ft. Cabins on the Rhine Deck have floor-to-ceiling windows, with an arch on the top.
The suites are extra spacious - over 225 sq. feet. They have a separate seating area and a bedroom, and three floor-to-ceiling windows. The seating area has a sofa, which opens into a bed and can accommodate a 3rd person in the suite. Early reservation is recommended.
The entire ship is non-smoking, with the exception of a designated area by the Club bar and sun deck. |
