The River Empress crusie ship has 65 cabins and 4 suites, and offers accommodations, amenities, comfort and luxuries superior to any other river cruise ship in Europe - matched only by her sister ship, the River Princess.
Public rooms offer an elegant, yet comfortable atmosphere. You are welcomed aboard through a spectacular lobby. The beautiful restaurant is extra spacious, with huge windows. You'll enjoy truly elegant dining in one luxurious seating. The spacious sun deck invites you to relax and watch the world float by. The spacious Main Lounge is lined with panoramic windows. There is also a Club Lounge, with a library and game tables, and a comfortable Salon on the Main deck. Onboard you'll also find a beauty salon, a boutique and a fitness center with sauna and spa.
Cabins are very spacious (over 150 sq. ft.) and offer comforts rarely found on a river cruise ship. They have "hotel-style" beds, which can be positioned separately (as two twin beds) or together as one large double bed. There is a cozy sitting area by the window with a table and two chairs. There is plenty of closet space, direct dial telephone and TV with local and satellite channels, as well as onboard information and videos. Each cabin has a private bathroom (with a shower) and individual air-conditioning and heating control.
All cabins have two picture windows. All cabins are identical except for the windows. Cabins on the Moselle deck have two smaller windows. Cabins on the Danube deck have one large picture window. Cabins on the Rhine (top) deck have two floor-to-ceiling windows.
Suites are extra spacious (over 225 sq. ft.) and have three floor-to-ceiling windows. They have a separate seating area, with a sofa, table and two chairs, and a bedroom.
The ship is nonsmoking, with the exception of the Sun deck.
The River Empress sails Grand Cruises, Amsterdam to Budapest, through the heart of Europe on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, as well as one Holland at Tulip Time cruise. |
