MSC Italian Cruises is proud to announce its newest flagship, the MSC Lirica cruise ship.

The new flagship, MSC Lirica, exemplifies MSC Italian Cruises' Italian style that distinguishes MSC from other cruise lines. Care has been taken to create an ambiance of elegance, cordiality and joy of living, Italian style onboard each vessel.

"MSC Italian Cruises brings together a unique combination of old world grace and contemporary technologies in the design of this new ship," said Nicola Arena, president of MSC Italian Cruises. "The MSC Lirica will express the true Italian ambiance and service that have become the hallmark of our cruise line."

Comforts and amusements abound on the new MSC flagships. The MSC Lirica features a fully equipped gym and jogging track for fitness enthusiasts, as well as two hot tubs and a sauna for relaxation and rejuvenation. Two swimming pools located on the superior decks; a Mini Club is available for children, with expert supervision; and a shopping gallery is onboard for browsing and unique purchases. In the evening, a disco and theater with new shows nightly provide great entertainment options.

Computer lovers won't be disappointed: the new flagships are equipped with a high tech Virtual Reality Center and an Internet Café with 16 terminals that allow people to chat, browse or email. Other amenities include satellite TV; a mini bar, safe and radio in all cabins, and 24-hour room service.

Even the styling of the vessel will enhance your journey. The dimensions of the aerodynamic and graceful hull assure ample spaces for guest to enjoy during navigation, and the décor has been carefully planned to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere, informal enough to put guests at ease.

True Italian style and flavor is further enhanced by the cuisine on board. In keeping with MSC's Italian gastronomic heritage, only the best ingredients are used in its traditional and classic recipes. Two Restaurants, a Grill and Pizzeria onboard will serve authentic Italian dishes that will delight the most discriminating palates.

Care and attention have made the new MSC Italian Cruises' flagships able to satisfy the needs of the line's multi-ethnic and heterogeneous clients, and anyone who wishes to rediscover the joy and elegance of Italian-style cruises.
