Web site recognizes top member-agents and -agencies for 2007
DES MOINES, Iowa, Sept. 13, 2007 - In celebrating its fourth anniversary, CruiseCompete.com today launched a new service that caters specifically to groups planning vacation gatherings at sea.
The world's only competitive cruise shopping Web site now helps consumers plan weddings and vow renewals; family, school and military reunions; corporate meetings and incentive trips and other group cruise experiences.
Since CruiseCompete.com's 2003 launch, its 300+ member-agencies - many of them large cruise aggregators - have supplied Web site visitors with more than three million custom cruise quotes in response to requests from more than 250,000 registered users.

According to Levinstein, most cruise lines offer special pricing and amenities to groups of eight (8) or more cabins. CruiseCompeteGroups.com has aligned itself with group specialists and travel agents experienced with group travel to help plan group cruises, meetings and other gatherings from start-to-finish.
Consumers access this new service by visiting CruiseCompete.com and entering the Group Cruises section. There, they complete a brief online form that is submitted to a select number of member agencies that specialize in group travel and meeting planning. After reviewing the initial information, the agencies contact the consumer or meeting planner directly to secure additional details on the group's travel plans and provide customized quotes.
In addition to offering the best cruise deals, CruiseCompete.com agents help people plan and organize meetings, team-building activities, parties and receptions, formal and informal onboard gatherings, as well as shore excursions for the group, plus other trip details.
"As with any trip, the sooner a group can start planning the better," Levinstein said. "It can take some time to arrange a group cruise and many of the most popular ships and itineraries are already booked for next year."
