CruiseCompete.com Celebrates First Year with Awards
Names Top Agents and Agencies
CruiseCompete.com celebrates its one-year anniversary on September 15th by giving awards to the agents and agencies who contributed most to its stunning success. CruiseCompete--the only web site that allows consumers to select a cruise and receive competing quotes from travel agents--named Cruise Vacation Experts of Orlando, Florida the "CruiseCompete Agency of the Year", and Sabrina Tolland of Cruise411 the "CruiseCompete Agent of the Year" for 2004.
Five agencies earned the designation "CruiseCompete Million Dollar Agency", and another six agencies were named "CruiseCompete Elite" agencies based on their performances throughout the year. Five agents were named to the "CruiseCompete Winner's Circle" agents, and ten more were named "CruiseCompete Elite Agents." A complete list is below.
"It's been a truly phenomenal first year," said Bob Levinstein, CruiseCompete's CEO. "To start a brand new web site with zero reputation or traffic and have five agencies well into the millions in bookings in just twelve months is far beyond what we envisioned. The credit belongs squarely with the member agents and partners."
Of Agent of the Year Tolland, Levinstein said, "Sabrina is amazing. She not only booked over a million dollars in business through CruiseCompete by herself, but she did it while working from home and taking care of a new baby. Even so, it was a hard choice, as several of our member-agents were equally deserving of the honor."
The choice Agency of the Year was also difficult, but "Todd Elliot, Drew Tate and the team at Cruise Vacation Experts contributed some excellent ideas for improving the service as well as putting up great sales numbers. The feedback from their customers has also been outstanding, as they combine great service and great prices."
"We owe a debt of gratitude to all of our members, as well as the operators of the web sites who are our traffic partners, the members of the press who have been so generous with their attention to our business model, and of course to the 100,000 or so consumers who have come to CruiseCompete to find the best deal on their next cruise vacation."
