NCL guests sent wedding invitations

Passengers aboard NCL America's pride of Aloha, Pride of Hawai'i and Pride of America are now invited to a special wedding celebration during their cruises. The off-Broadway phenomena, Tony n' Tina's Wedding, is being held on the ships during evenings when they are docked in Maui. The show, which is sold as a ship excursion, combines fantastic food and drinks with a fun and unique theatrical show. At the start of the evening, NCL passengers become part of the family, greeted by members of the wedding party and are immediately immersed into the show. Guests eat, drink and dance, as well as interact with the wedding party, eccentric friends and relatives. A family-style dinner is provided, along with music and dancing to a live band. Throughout the evening, a number of unexpected twists and turns provide humor and drama. Tickets are limited to 250 –350 guests per show, depending on the ship.

Popularity of cruises to Australia, New Zealand and southeast asia explodes; Princess expands capacity for 2008-09

Starting in 2008, Princess Cruises will offer more than double the cabins to Australia and New Zealand than any other cruse line, providing a full program of sailings aboard the Diamond Princess, Sun Princess and Dawn Princess. The cruise line also is expanding capacity in Asia for voyages longer than ten days. More travelers than ever will now have the opportunity to experience the jeweled palaces of Bangkok, China's Great Wall, the unique wildlife of Tasmania and the towering fjords of New Zealand, plus other unique destinations in this part of the world.

Southeast Asia & China – Guests aboard the Diamond Princess will enjoy 16-day routes between Beijing and Bangkok, including calls to Nagasaki, Shanghai, Okinawa, Taipei, Hong Kong, Nha Trang (Vietnam), Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore. Fall cruises run between October 6 – November 7, plus spring sailings between March 14 – April 15, 2009.

Australia & New Zealand – The Diamond Princess also will sail 12-day itineraries between Sydney and Auckland, between December 12, 2008 and February 10, 2009. Port visits include Melbourne, Hobart (Tasmania), Dunedin, Christchurch, Tauranga and a scenic cruise through Fiordland National Park.

Australia & Asia – Princess offers two options for travelers interested in the wonders of Asia and natural attractions of Australia. The first is a 19-day Bangkok to Sydney route departing on November 23 of next year, with stops at Ho Chi Minh City, Kota Kinabalu (Borneo, Malaysia), Singapore, Darwin, Port Douglas, Airlie Beach (Great Barrier Reef) and Brisbane. On February 22, 2009, the ship will sail from Sydney to Bangkok on a 20-day sailing that follows more southern route, featuring calls to Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Exmouth, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City and Sihanoukville (Cambodia).
