The Antilla, which sank more than 60 years ago, remains completely intact and is widely regarded as one of the best sunken shipwrecks in the Caribbean. We love this shore excursion-- only for the most adventurous! Highlights include: Kueba di Brua: The largest of the caves, with several bat-inhabited chambers and impressive stalagmite and stalactite formations. Listen to your guide create unique music! This cave was used for voodoo rituals by former slaves on the island. Boka Ascension: reached by a narrow 4x4 trail, this gorgeous isolated bay is home to herons and gulls, and is one of the few bays where sea turtles can frequently be spotted from land. Supladó, a natural Jacuzzi, where sea-water and foam is sprayed through a chute into the air displaying colorful fountains and rainbows. You can bathe in the shallow warm water surrounding the Supladó and watch the spectacular show from close by. More…………….

Because our hike is short, naturalist Walter has the Zodiac driver follow the dolphins for 15 or 20 minutes. Once on the beach, we are greeted by five juvenile Galapagos hawks. “Oh Dear, We Lost Our Passports” --I’m still not sure where or how it happened that day in Florence. Our passports were securely in my purse but, that evening, the leather envelope I carried them in was gone. Did I drop them at the Uffizi Gallery when we went through security? (The envelope wasn’t turned in or stuck in the X-ray machine, as I’d hoped.) Did I leave them at the jewelry store on the Ponte Vecchio? More………………………………
